Running your page through the validator from time to time would catch, among other things, the fact that nearly the entire page has been italicized for a week.

I'm sure they'd readmit her if she just wore the proper scarlet 'A' at all times, and flagellated herself in front of the students to demonstrate her repentance.

Jeff -- I agree with you how absurd it is for a church to do things this way. Yet, I just think about the fact that this girl did choose to work at a Catholic School, and is therefore expected to promote those Catholic Beliefs of her Employer and uphold their reputation, etc. etc. So really, she's kind of getting what she deserves. As for the men, I don't know how you fix that :o)

Assuming she has the luxury of choosing where to work, yes, you're right.

But even so, if she *chose* to work at a Catholic school because, gods below, she is a Catholic and wanted to enrich the lives of young Catholics, the fact remains that perhaps the pregnancy was an accident.

And beyond that, even if it were no accident, the ProLifers should be jumping for joy that she didn't go and terminate her pregnancy—sorry, kill her unborn baby—before she started showing just so she could preserve her job.

I guess what they want is to have their cake and eat it to. They want her to keep the baby—fatherless and penniless as it will be—and for her to Hester Prynne her way out of their lives ASAP.

Man, I'm definitely not obsessed with any of the things you listed. Too be honest, I'm too busy hanging out with friends and playing video games to obsess about that crud. I post on my blog for my own entertainment, and for the occasional entertainment of my friends. I enjoy debating with the sorry tools who take me too seriously. You, on the other hand, have a genuine, burning hatred for the Catholic Church, and any Catholic who firmly believes in it.
